Firearm Deer Season Reminders Nov 15 – Nov 30

With firearm deer season upon us, we want to share a few reminders about trail use at Maasto Hiihto and Churning Rapids. The majority of our trails run across private property that is open to hunting. While the club does not have the authority to close or restrict access, many of our landowners do hunt on their land during this short season and may be out enjoying that opportunity.

If the weather cooperates, we encourage you to consider using the Michigan Tech Trails or Bayside Bike Park during this time—or take the opportunity to get your fat bikes tuned and skis waxed for the season ahead!
