Call for Board Member Nominations: Help Shape the Future of Hancock Trails!

The Hancock Trails Club (HTC) is opening up nominations for our Board of Directors! As a 501(c)(3) non-profit that is powered by volunteers, we are looking for more board members to lead the stewardship of the Maasto-Hiihto and Churning Rapids trail system.

What We’re Looking For: We welcome all outdoor enthusiasts, but we are particularly interested in candidates with experience or interest in:

  • Community Outreach & Events

  • Fundraising & Grant Writing

  • Financial Management

  • Trail Maintenance & Project Planning

Important Dates (Tentative Schedule):

  • Nomination Deadline: May 1, 2026

  • Voting Period: Digital ballots will be sent to the membership in early to mid May.

  • Election Results: Announced at the HTC Annual Meeting on May 19th at the Orpheum Theater
